Gentle Yoga

Unhurried shapes, wording you can follow, and time to become familiar with simple positions.

Gentle Yoga is for people who want to see a movement before the next one arrives. Instructions name the shape, suggest where to look or how to place the feet, and leave a pause.

You might be new to yoga, returning after a long gap, or simply preferring a quieter pace. None of those is a requirement. If standing for a full session does not suit you, say so when you write and we will describe what can stay closer to the floor.

What a session tends to include

A short arrival, a few familiar positions such as an easy seat, a gentle fold or a supported standing shape, and time to notice the breath between them. There is no score and no photograph of a result.

Bring a mat or a stable surface, clothes you can move in, and water. A wall or a chair can be useful. We can talk about that before you join.
